r.a.i.n.d.r.o.p.s.
.........................................................................................................................................................................................................
The rain has been pouring onto the dry ground of Queensland. For a while, the ground didn't seem to absorb the water. after long periods of dryness, the ground was just too hard.
Rainfall intensity > Infiltration capacity, thus led to high amounts of Surface Overland Flow ... which is terrible because its a waste of the rain. But thank God for the persistent rain, somehow breaking the ground.
Hebrews 3: 7So, as the Holy Spirit says: "Today, if you hear his voice, 8do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, during the time of testing in the desert, "
Our hearts could be like the ground, after long periods of dryness, even when God rains down His Presence, our hearts repel. Sometimes even oblivious to it. Yet, He is a persistent God. He will shower till we crack up and allow seeps of Him to fall through.
i would rather be like soft loamy soil which retains water, giving me abundance of underground water. or can i be greedy of His presence, well hungry being a better word, be a whole catchment area, like Samuel, He did not allow a single of God's word fall to the ground. The presence of God, i pray will be perennial, not seasonal in my life.
