Back in Brisbane!

Heh, i am back in Brisbane! Everything looked kind of familiar and foreign at the same time :) Took out clothes from my luggage and i was glad that they lingered smells of mom and Singapore home. the detergent smells are just different!
Thank God for a great trip back, i wouldn't trade off the time spent with mom and niece [Grace] for anything. It was such a great time of bonding. I was glad that i was back, being able to be part of my family's life for that one month. You know when you are overseas, you are only somehow "connected" by a phone call or Emails. but it's different when you are actually back there, that even where and what you are having for dinner mattered and affected the rest of the family.
God has been so good to both Kel and me. We had great deals with the banquet dinner and accomodation at Orchard Hotel. I'm happy with the bridal studio that i've got my gowns and photography from. We kept to our budget. Managed to get the wedding invites done at a reasonable deal too *free envelopes :) and even the airport counter staff was lenient with me bringing in excess baggages that consist of some wedding stuffs.
I had heaps of "1st times" in Singapore this time round. of course besides first time taking wedding photos, poising strange poises [this outdoor shot that i took in the middle of down town, even caught attention of a passing by tour bus filled with Chinese tourists. in which all were man. they were all starring by the windows and to make matter more interesting, the bus stopped at the traffic lights and some even took out cameras to take photos of us! charge them for copyrights :) ]
1st time getting lost driving at 11pm after dropping Kel off at the camp. Took a very familar route but somehow i day dreamed and forgot to exit, and i ended up in whoop whoop land.
1st time taking the cable car
1st time, oh and what else? i thought there were more, anyway, i can always update when i remember.
i should head off to sleep soon, still groggy from the flu and fever that i caught a day before flying back. Back in action at office tomorrow i hope, and God's strength be on me to accomplish the pile of work.
