THANKSGIVING; COMMITMENT TO PRAYER

1 Thessalonians 5:17-19
17pray continually; 18give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 pm: Ringing of phone alarms, popping up of reminder window from my outlook calendar ... timely reminder to pray for our triple one prayer point. 1 min, and arrows are shot out to the heavenly realm, demons shudder as God's people are completely committed in the victory found in Christ. more than that, my heart was lifted up, in just that one minute of prayer.
I was reminded of thanksgiving in midst of prayer. I thank God for the answered prayer in the rain that fell over the past few days.
"Good falls across the region were reported overnight, including more than 80 millimetres around Biloela, where there was also hail, minor localised flooding and some tree damage.
The weather bureau expects storms to redevelop across the region this afternoon.
A number of churches across the state have been holding services to pray for rain, with prayers planned for Gladstone later this month.
Emerald Shire Mayor Peter Maguire says recent prayers on the Central Highlands appear to have paid off.
"I know that there was a prayer service in Emerald ... a week ago I think there was one in Emerald. We had 25 or 30mm or whatever around the place last Friday, a couple of days last week, so certainly that was good," he said.

i had, over the past few days of "strange upheaval of emotions" that fluttered the sense of urge to go back to Singapore for a couple days to settle the wedding plans. the stomachaches that gave rise to many toilet trips and days of bloated stomach. all these led to tingling sense of frustration and sometimes moody afternoons at work. I Thank God for Kel's patience and care when he brought lunch over to me yesterday when me out of greediness ate up my lunch for breakfast. I Thank God most of all for the the strong urge that alerted my senses last night to CAST ALL my burdens to Him for He cares for me.
Here goes:
  • Confirmation of Dinner venue with good perks and extra nights of hotel accomodation
  • Confirm the use of Bridal studio that gives me an affordable package with good designs, good photographers (return all my negatives) ~ i have heard so much stories of dishonesty of bridal studios, promise something, but fail to meet up; shows lots of nice gown pictures but nothing much but old designs in store; charge for every single additions of request from customer; list goes on. God i trust in what you are going to provide me with! :)
  • Grant of permanent residency by end Nov
  • Constructive plans 2007 for Judah 1 - Pastoral plans, discipleship focus ...
  • Able to find affordable accomodation for next year

God is wonderful to me. i have also gotten so much out of the Marriage preparation course and also from the book "Fit to be tied". was feeling a little nervous thinking about the step to the next phase. i was telling God, i have never been a "wife" before, but God granted me the assurance of our commitment before Him and how it will be the most foundational step of all. be assured of His guidance. [hope to be able to blog the lessons i have learnt one day]
