I am first a Believer

In the many roles I play, a daughter, sister, wife to be, shepherd, friend, leader, sheep etc. I am first a believer. A believer of Jesus Christ, a follower and worshipper. No matter what hat i may be wearing, i have to first remember that my first and ultimate who I am should be found deep within my soul where the Holy Spirit lives and dwells. I have to remind myself that in the most joyous time i remember that it is not just about the situation or the people around me, but to acknowledge that it is the work of God. In my most stressful and frustrated moments, i choose to trust and worship my God who is able. In helpless situations, i will stand and believe in the power of Hope that He gives. In times of conflicts and unjust, i learn to say God i submit all my ill feelings and attitudes to you, no matter what. In sadness and disappointments, i can say You are the strength and my fortress. My ever present help in time of need.

It's not about changing others, nor is it about changing the situations. It's about the courage to accept of my own lack and entrusting my all to Him, for He is changing me from deep within.
