Can't believe how dependent we are on our technology nowadays. I arrived at office earlier than usual because Kelvin was sending people to the airport and i thought i will grab a lift and reach work earlier. Only to know that i left my Laptop charger at home and my batt is totally flat. So here i am stucked on the main computer. handicapped because all related documents i need are stored in my laptop. I am seriously fumbling over this keyboard due to its odd shape, which is somehow wired for people like Ber who can seem to type on it perfectly fine and i am deleting every few letters and retyping because of typo errors left right centre :)
Though feeling rather stucked here, productivity extremely hampered but there was this liberty within me as i reflected over the Unit leaders getaway. [Oh, we didn't take a single photo!] It was such a great time fellowshipping with many like minded people. We shared our lives, and i was so encouraged in every single conversations, some ministry related, some just about life, but one thing for sure, was that God has been just so evident in each of our lives! I had a great time too catching up with my dear covenant friend. So valuable! and i simply can't thank God enough for placing this wonderful person in my life for despite our busy schedules at times, God has used her in so many ways to care for me and encourage me on! I thank God that we can be honest and transparent to each other and so many times we need not share for too long before we can nod in agreement and understanding, sometimes disbelief of our similarity :)
We cracked into laughters and some contagious person (Ray) in our midst often got us rolling in Chuckling laughs which we had to consciously take in deep breaths to control that sort of laughters due to a pregnant lady in our midst who may be placed in a dangerous position if laughed too hard ;)
why the liberty within me was that on top of being around with all these great people, who inspire me lots with their lives, God was there! All of us were so ministered to, when we took turns to be prayed for. God spoke through every single one, words of affirmation, prophesies and many more and it was amazing. God spoke to me so clearly that there was newness within that i can't explain with literal words. it was encouraging to see how each leader have grown so much in sensitivity to God and was sharp and confident to speak forth words that God has laid.
i am so excited to walk on to see what God has installed in this church and is this service. I Thank God for placing such down to earth God chasers around me. there was such security around not in a comfort sense but a the confidence to know that each person could be relied on.

Thank God for you too Yen! I treasure our short but very sweet times too :D. It's precious to be able to start a conversation with you out of the blue and feel like we've been talking all the time!
